One thing leads to another, a slight change, a shift in a letter, or scale, or direction, and you find yourself in another place. Where are the boundaries? How does meaning shift? Are definitions mutable?

I explore ephemeral questions through the very physical disciplines of books, installation and architecture. As analogies, they allow me to develop ideas about space and experience, presence and absence, revelation and concealment, public and private. What do our eyes tell us? Is it the same as what our body experiences? Whether itís the intimacy of a hand-held book or the public scale of an architectural project, at the core is the conceptual and physical relationship of the viewer to the object through scale, materials, image and text.
